HAIGUYS.
So they gave me this hat. It says "CAT HERDER" on it. I'm not sure what that is really supposed to mean, but for now it means that I get the honor of announcing the beginning of 25 man raiding in Wrath of the Lich King.
RAID STATS (when do I show up?)Thursday 6:00 to 9:00 server, invites around 5:30
Friday 6:00 to 10:00 server, invites around 5:30
As usual, there will be a
SIGN UP THREAD every week. You should sign up if you want a spot, otherwise we'll send
Fang Zalbuu to eat your underwear.
Signing up early is preferred, as it lets us announce rosters early, which lets you know early if you need to show up, and reduces the officers' blood pressure by 15 points because they're not scrambling to make a roster at work at 15 minutes before Pull Time the day of the raid.
TRI RULESWe have one major rule in Totally Raids and that rule is Don't Be A Dick. "DBAD" includes, but is not limited to:
- Not being a loot monkey
- Showing up on time
- Signing up and meaning it, and/or not bailing just before or worse, during a raid
- Letting people know if you have to be late or your life invades suddenly
- Respecting your fellow raiders (even Zalbuu)
- Not taking random unannounced AFK's
- Having all your gear repaired and properly gemmed/enchanted
- Being prepared (including reading up on new fights)
- Being respectful of others in channel, Vent, and whatnot
Our success in raiding is completely dependent on our being able to work together as a team. So really. Don't be a Dick.
TRI LOOTThe general post re loot rules can be found
here.
CONSUMABLESThe TRI raid bank will not be providing flasks or elixirs for raiders except for on specific progression fights, and infrequently. For now, if you need flasks or elixirs, feel free to look up any of the wonderful crafters that TRI has in our ranks. Go
here for details of the consumables situation. We always appreciate contributions of mats, falsks, herbs, fish, and other such things to assist us with our restocking.
(If you don't know anyone else, ask in perfidychat! Or, if you're at a loss, Alishe is potion specced and Aelflaed is elixir/flask specced, so you can come find one of us!)
SIGNING UP Every week there will be a sign up thread. We expect everyone - regulars and subs - to sign up each week. This is both to let us know that you WILL be there, as well as to let us know that you WON'T. If it's Monday and you're not sure, post anyway and tell us that you're not sure.
Also, signing up does not guarantee you a spot, and we do
not have a "first come, first served" rostering setup. We usually pull from our
regular roster before we pull from subs, but of course, we have people that can't come or have things come up. Subs are prioritized based on gear, prior experience, level of situational awareness, and general "gets-along-with-the-raid-ness".
TRI ROSTEROur roster is limited to 25 people. Within that group of 25 people, we need a certain number of tanks (of varying types and skills), a certain number of healers (of assorted classes and specs), a certain number of sacrificial melee, and a certain number of ranged DPS. Unfortunately, if we get 15 people that all sign up as frost specced DK tanks... it might be a bit of a problem. We do the best we can to make our rosters balanced and as cohesive/synergistic as possible - while trying to get as many people on the list as possible as well. There will be more re roster and policies pertaining to this, but in the meantime,
here's your list of officer types.
MARKING HATCHES ON THE BACK FENCEWhen Burning Crusade finished, we'd seen or were on the verge of seeing the vast majority of raid content that the game had to offer. We kicked a lot of ass, and we kicked it in a lot less time per week than most raids, and we managed to do a bit of RP at the same time.
We have, as it were, some
HISTORY.
And that history is pretty awesome. We've beaten Naxx and Ulduar, getting Legendary Bubbles along the way. We've shown Sartharion and his three girlfriends that we can pull 25 people together and not stand in fire... let's show up on Thursdays and Fridays and show some really ugly dead things in Icecrown that we
Ain't Skeerd.
More general rules and stuff can be found
in this sub-forum.
Much love and Loot-Fu luck,
Anna
(Aelflaed - call her Aely, it's easier to pronounce)
